The Judy Monologues is a one-act play, based entirely upon rare voice tapes recorded by Garland in the years leading up to her death at age 47 from an accidental overdose. The original production featured film footage of Garland from her Hollywood heyday. The script features some great monologues for auditions.

    Judy Garland, a name synonymous to American culture and a women that had so much to say and so little time to say it. I often times ponder what it would have been like to be friends with Miss. Garland. To sit down and have an honested chat with Americas "sweetheart", their pride and joy of the 20th century. Well, after reading The Judy Monologues, I feel as though I have. She was a lady overflowing with emotion, emotion that had to be held in and hidden from the public. Years later here are her words. Words that you may find hard to believe coming out of the innocent little girl who say about the rainbow. But what's important is the voice. The voice of Judy Garland one of the greatest legends of all time.
